The Pawling Fish and Game Association's signature event is the annual trout fishing derby which is held every year at Edward R. Murrow Memorial Park. This rite of spring has been a Village tradition for over five decades. Fishing, food and fun for the children and their parents and entry, as always is Free. The derby has been so identified with the community as a whole that most people assume, incorrectly, it is a Village sponsored event. In fact, it is a few dedicated members of the Pawling Fish and Game Association who each year arranges for the fish, the food, and the fun for the children and parents of Pawling and surrounding communities.

This year the Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 in Murrow Park, Old Route 55 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m..
There will be food, fun and prizes. Entry is Free.
